177 cal Chamber Issue
Pellets don’t want to stay in when loaded. Have tried many brands. Match 4.51 fit it tighter. Some 4.50 will stay in some will drop right out if you orient the muzzle up. I have a coupel of other longer barrels and they have no such problem.
Anyone else have this issue and have a fix.
I have a couple of ideas to put the slightest crimp in the chamber end. Have an old cone shaped reloading die I could gently push the end into to it to force a slight crimp.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance….Monty

oh yes…. is this an Airforce barrel? if so check for a replacement on Warranty.

press a pellet into the barrel until it fits right. Determine how much barrel is exposed…. cut that off and polish it up. Reset your barrel bushings.
May require the reduced section of the barrel to be extended as well.
No way pellets should fall out of your breech leade.
Do not bother crimping that barrel
Hold the gun down all the time.

Had it 2 years and it was the original but it has only been on the rifle a couple of times. I was using a 22 cal most of the time.
