Millet Scope by Bushnell 10X-50mm $274 Worth a look!
I purchased a fixed 10X Millet Scope from MidwestUSA.com and I am very pleased with the optics and construction.
30mm tube.
Built-in Side focus wheel
Off set reticule illuminating control
Large tactical knobs for windage and elevation
fast focus rear eyepiece
Mil dot reticule
The image is bright and clear out to the edges near and at distance
The knobs are firm, click set is solid, no movement.
Side focus knob is firm, but easily spun to focus and stays where you put it.
Lens caps are better than expected and stay put until flipped up.
Ten illumination settings for reticule, plus “NV” which is a bright reticule at sides, but very soft at center.
Scope is over 15″ long, comes with a sun shade, scope sock, lens clothe, and weights about 25 oz. It feels quite solid.
I got it for $274 due to a $25 discount Midway is offering. They also have this scope in 4-16X50mm for variable focus people. I like fixed and ten power is perfect for what I do.
Sometimes when you take a chance on a scope, you get lucky. I feel very lucky to get this quality for the price I paid, shipped.

Yes, I really loved the clarity of the glass on mine, but what I really loved was that mildot with the half minute slashes.
At times I wished I had gotten the 10 power, for I read you could reset the knobs to zero.
I will be watching to see how you fare with that glass. I am a few months out on mine, I need to heal up from the Shoebox compressor and that car repair bill first.

Knobs are resettable to zero on the fixed power.
Various reviews I’ve read indicated that every once in awhile someone got one with issues. The majority were well pleased. I zeroed my in yesterday and its doing the job just fine.
A bit heavy, but for the money its the best glass I could afford.

I no longer have mine, but the early lrs-1’s did not have resetable knobs. They had screw there, but they were little tiny flat head set screws sealed in a sealing tar of some kind.
Once I discovered this, I called the millet number, Bushnel answered the phone and I talked to them about it, they told me that the knobs could not be reset to zero.
I had read an article somewhere that said the newer ones you could, I believe it might have been Snipershide, but i got one of the older ones.
Mine also had a issue with tracking on the windage, sometimes it would and sometimes it would not. So 50 shots down the road, the windage would suddenly decide to catch up, and yes, I did tap on the knobs. I sent it back to Bushnell and they went thru it and readjusted things.
I sold it when I got it back,damn near two months later, my confidence in it was at a all time low, that is why I am not fond of Bushnells repair center, that and reading a lot of complaints from others.
It would have been a nice scope if it had worked, and I decided also I did not need the lighted reticle, and that the next scope I get would be maybe a 100 bucks more and with just the basics like target knobs, mildot and maybe fixed power.
After the Condor 2 war I had on here, I went back and read his posts and then did some checking on the SWFA 10 power, I think he was right about that being a good scope and may get one, it is in the running anyway. Although I watched a vxIII 6×20 SF 30 mm go for a little over 500 this weekend on gunbroker.
I would have loved to have it, but I have a 1300 dollar repair for the Allroad and a shoebox coming this week and next week, that is just too much money for me on this paycheck, so I let it pass uggh it was hard to do, I really want ed that glass.
So long story short, the early ones, 4×16’s did not have resetable knobs.

Roach, I have the 4×16 too. I can reset the knobs to zero on mine. What is the issue with yours!

Thanks for the insight RC. Sorry to hear you had such trouble with it. So far I have no complaints with mine. Good bang for the buck.
Speaking about the SWFA I had a chance to get two of them from a guy who was selling them as a pair (near new) on the yellow a while back. I hesitated, walked away from my keyboard, walked back after five minutes to type in “I’ll take them” and of course someone beat me to it 😥 The savings was to the effect of 100 or 120.00 on each scope 😯 😡
