I just ordered a 25 caliber barrel today.
Well I finially did it, I ordered a 25 caliber barrel, got it from RLAirguns, with two tins of Kodiaks for $217.00 Tmd. Anything over $200.00 is free shipping there.
I sold my 22/24″ off my Condor. It has been a superb barrel, perhaps setting the TAG long range kill record of 148 yards on a bird, last group I shot with it was 5 shots into 1/4 inch at 42 yards with 18 grn Exacts.
It will be a hard act to follow. Just heard too many tales of the 25. So I will see for myself.

You will be very happy with the .25, Ive still got my .22 barrel, but I have’nt had it in the gun in over a year. The .25 cal is a great match for the Condor.

I have a 18″ .25 LW barrell from Walt! It’s super sweet! You could get 65 fpe easy with a high flow depending on the pellet. You could get a good amount of 100fpe shots too with SureFires!
Walt here in Hawaii is making me a .25 LW barrel that is going to be just under the length of the TSS frame—-somewhere between 17″ and 18″. It should develop about 45 fpe with Tony’s power modded Talon valve. This is going to be a short rig for jungle hunting, with an OAL of 42.5″ from shroud to WokButt. If I ever upgrade to a Condor high flow valve, I should get about 65 fpe.
.25 with a lighter pellet I do not see a trajectory problem there, the 25grn. JSB’s I consider lightweights. Welcome to the club, your gun sounds quite ample to use the 25 easily, I can shoot Kodiacs supersonic and I bet you can too. So something like a 25 is going to be a cinch with a lower fill and more fills.
Well I do have a 22 SS in case I want to shoot the mouse guns 😆
Hope that does what your wanting it to RC, but i think you will regret getting rid of the 22 barrel. you are going to feel like your shooting the big smokers again with that 25 trajectory.

Yes I think you are correct, I will. I have since did a lot more mods to the rifle, I have done the trigger mod and polished all the surfaces both on the gun and on all the trigger parts, including the bearing surfaces on the pins and inside the trigger raceway. I polished the inside of the hammer/breech area on the frame.
Once I get the barrel I will clean it, then polish the hammer breech bearing surfaces, install it and begin shooting those 1/2 inch 200 yard groups with the pellets that shoot flat for a quarter mile and then start rising.
Oops, I seem to be coming down with Mrod pistol optimism. 😆
