Q:

Anti-reflection honeycomb insert for lens cap???

A while back, someone found these on Ebay that the guy would cut to fit your lens cap.

I’ve been looking, but all I can find are the OEM type, encased in a plastic ring and made for specific Butler Creek lens caps, and boy are they proud of them!

Anyone remember where we can find just the plastic honeycomb we can cut to fit our own lenscaps? So much better than a sunshade.

Red neck it with some black plastic straws bundled together and cut to size.

theres a black fabric that some Halloween masks are made of that only allows you to see one way, that may work.

The honeycomb I bought from ebay from a guy selling it for camera use and made into an anti flash for my scope and spotting scope sucked. I expected some dimming, but the stuff I bought was reflective which lead to there being a loss of detail and cloudyness.

I have tried ARD’s on trijicon acog’s and they worked properly so if you can find some thats non reflective they work fine.

Are these any good? I thought I read someone trying them and said never again.

Yellow Ninja, made a KillFlash ARD from materials bought off Ebay I beleive? You may want to contact him.
