For those who have the big nikko scope

That’s the Diamond series with the green turrets , the old-timers say the glass isn’t as good as the old diamond series that had more lenses in the scope ,but it still won the field target worlds .
The nighteater series uses the same glass but has one less Ed glass lens

I have both the old diamond series pre green turrets and a new nighteater series ,and the glass is as good with both ,the diamond is just more precision built ,bang for the buck ,I would say the nighteater series is awesome for a PCP , just won’t go below 10 yards , so if you are crawling through the brush this is not the scope
Both scopes are real accurate on the range finding capabilities

Depends which Nikko you are talking about ,in general ,the glass is good on the more expensive scope models ,clear all ne way .
Night eaters are good value and Japanese glass
