Q:

Talon SS barrel swap question

I’m looking to swap out my 12″ .22 barrel on my Talon SS for an 18 or 24. The idea is that it’ll be my walk-around woods gun (since I’ve gotten a Marauder which will be my backyard gun).
Is there anything else required besides the barrel that I need to add? Any suggestions on the 18 vs 24 from anyone who’s done the swap (ie. accuracy, velocity, appearance)?

If it is a walk around gun, go with the 18″ barrel.
They have a much better balance and less barrel to get snagged up IMO.

You don’t really need the Condor end cap. And the 18 or 24 inch
barrel will come with the bushings unless your getting ripped off.

You’ll have to swap the barrel bushings with the barrel and replace the Talonn SS end cap with a Condor end cap. The longer 24″ barrel will give you some more feet per second over the 18″ barrel and will appear to look like a Condor.
Good luck,
