Cold weather shrinks frame???
So I was out Saturday and it was cold as a witches tit and well I think my Condor frame shrunk and the breech slide didn’t. I could barely cock the damn thing! She fired fine though. And as the temperature rose about 10* smooth cocking returned. Anyone else ever experience this phenom?

I did the snow blower job yesterday on drifting snow and haven’t had any since. Our Lake Michigan lake effect snow died down and we got a partly sunny day or two ahead….But damn cold.

In Ohio it hit a high of 20F with 15 MPH NW winds today. That’s wind chill of 6F. And the east coast gets it next 😈

PS. My range has a heated shooting shelter at the 50 yard range. But it’s still cold with the shooting ports open.

Sounds more like the silicone grease on your breech orings gelling up.
The colder it is, the harder the grease becomes.
I used to have fishing reels stop working when ice fishing. Held the reel above the handwarmer bucket and the grease would thaw out.
