some .25 baffle questions
hey y’all, i was wondering would .28″ be too small a dia for .25 cal? what would be a good dia to use for .25? basically looking for muzzle cap of the shroud, and baffle cone hole for the pellet. thanks to all!! id be shooting JSB’s, kodiaks, and possibly even surefire pellets just for an idea of pellets id like to use with my gun.

Go no smaller than .030 larger than the pellet.
.281 will work, if your machining ability lets you keep it aligned with the bore.
I use .280ish” for .22 caliber, and .300ish” for .25 caliber. But I might make several frame-to-tube adapters before I can find one that aligns perfect with the barrel. My lathe skills aren’t that great + the old lathe I get to use sometimes is completely worn out.
Going overbore doesn’t seem to make the gun any louder in my case, but I would suspect if I used a decibel meter I would see a difference.

i appreciate the info guys! im getting info together so i can modify the k baffle design ive got. im still trying to hash out how im going to mount it to my rifle, because its not going to be a typical talon or condor. and i really dont want to thread the barrel… i do want a quick detach i know that!
