Q:

Condor tanks

I have an eTaC on my Condor. I really like the way it works, but it makes the “stock” very long. Is there another tank (wider daimeter is Ok too) that is shorter and will fit?

Yes. Drill and run a 18mm tap in it. You also have to cut the o ring grove bigger to.

Do you mean you have to have someone cut out the existing threads and rethread the tank?

The Catalina cylinder is a 9098. You have buy through Evergreen Midwest Co. Tanks are $70.00 plus shipping. You have to rethread the tank 18×1.5mm. I think Jim might make you a Etac with 5/8-18. Not sure though.

Could you tell me what model of your Catalina tanks? I couldn’t found the 53ci model on their site which I’m looking for. Where can I get the adaptor to match with the E-tac?

Thanks.

They are paint ball cylinders. Do a search on google. JDS air sells the 48 ci. I got my 53 ci from catalina tanks. I just picked up a 62 ci from ANS gear for $40.00.

Who makes the smaller tank?

48 ci tank is a lot shorter. With Etac-reg it is the same a stock tank. The 53 ci tank with Etac is real close to stock tank. Only problem is you will have to put 18×1.5mm threads in the tanks to match the Etac-stock tank threads.
