Q:

air question!! HUGE TANK!!

im a little fuzzy about air volume and how it works. i have two choices of tanks id like to use, a 62 ci 3000psi tank, and a 88 ci 4500 psi tank. if the JDS valve will fit in the 88 ci tank, the 88/4500 will give me more shots than the 62/3000, right? JDS has a 3k input and 4.5k input valves, and regulated to whatever output im gonna need, so the valve’s not the question. its going to be the number of shots…will the larger tank be worth the investment? its only 60 bucks more, but still… any thoughts?

here’s a hard question, how many cc’s should i make a prechamber, id like it big enough for 2 full power shots, so it stays consistent shot to shot. the od is going to be 1.25″, like the edge tank, but im not sure what the id, or the length would be. i am running a high flow valve, and heavy spring…i know its kind of a loaded question, because valves flow differently, but hopefully i can get a good size to cover high flow valve flow. thanks!!!

oh yea, the JDS Airman regs are 4500 input 1k-3k output depending what you need. im hoping the JDS Airman reg will thread into the paintball tank fine…im not sure of the threads- but ive sent him an email, just waiting on that. sweet… 88-90 ci 4500psi tank it is…NICE!!

You’ll get a LOT more shots with the bigger tank at 50% higher pressure assuming they are both regulated down to the same output.

not too much worried about tank fills, as theres alot of places to fill a tank, here around lejeune, but im more concerned with number of shots… my gun’s going to be run via a remote line, w/a tank on my back… and no i dont want to wear a damn scuba tank!!! 😆 but a paintball tank is doable. im just confused as to a 88/4.5k tank will give me more full power shots than a 62/3k tank. thanks!!
