ATC….Automatic Tool Changing. Basically a holder for different tooling that’s set up such that the machine can change the tools all by itself.

Time for a tool change goes from minutes to seconds.

There’s a homebuilt one on Hoss’s site that works as good as the store bought ones. Well…nearly, but it’s got to be a lot less costly to build it than buy it.

Not a necessity…just REALLY nice to have. 🙂

Autocad is a damn good program once you learn it..working on that. Haven’t used Rhino, but hear it’s top notch.

Good place to spend some time….

You planning to run Mach3?

going for the syil x6 , just waiting for a quote for total ,
thanks again for the suggestion .
$500 extra for a 40” table , but might be worth it .
i’ll have to post some stuff ones i get it going .
alraedy have some gcode ready 🙂

i also looked into the hm 145 , almost the same machine , lil cheaper an smaller . i was surprised shipping was only $200 ( if you unload)

I always kinda wanted one of these, which is on sale now with full CNC kit. But Ive always been short on space and this seemed like a good solution.
