Pearce AR to 1911 Grip conversion
has anybody ever tried one of these?

Just put the Wokguard15 on my SS and love the way it feels other then my hand gets pinched on the top from the end of the metal strap where the old grip attached. Has anyone ever filed or ground one down before?
Have a cheap AR grip on there now, but have a Hogue on order hoping that fixes the problem, otherwise I may take my grinder to it.

Best thing wold be to convince Wok to sell you his personal grip frame. I have the the one your looking at, but don’t have my rifle now. Are you talking about the AF frame sticking beyond the grip? I hate that, I have looked over my .45 adapter and I don’t think it will solve the problem. You could cut the frame or get a AR grip that rises up past it and cut the grip to fit. I think Wok should make the .45 grip frame as well as the AR :wink:, although I love my Ar adapter.
