30-34 inch barrel
Been thinking about this for a while . In a 25 caliber . I now have the 24 but would like to try a longer one for bench rest . Have looked around and found nothing but Track of the wolf liners with a .251 groove . But the o.d. is only 7/16 . So the barrel would need to be sleeved or a new hammer made as well . I have no lathe . So I would need help with barrel mods as well .Marvin

Walt has made a valve for me that may give more power and use less air. Testing looks good so far and may be a better alternative to the 30″. However depending on the numbers I still may pursue the 30″ route, they can always be cut down.
2 – Longer barrel = greater time the pellet can be affected by movement of the gun/shooter for a given velocity
3 – Longer barrels will start having a negative effect on velocity at some point due to friction…. I have no idea where that point is but it would suck to find out it’s at 25″ right after you buy a 30″ for benefits of dubious merit.

why so long…do you want it to be a fishing rod as well ?
for bench rest add a muzzle weight…not really needed but i guess it could help…prolly be better off just using an SS valve/bottle and the 24″ barrel
for super power…that can be had with 24″ barrel and condor valve….
at 30-34″ sure you could gain a little bit power and more shots per charge….just unwieldy long

I MAY be getting (5) 30″ LW barrels. I’d be more than happy to sell one. The minimum order was 5. I am still waiting to hear back about them.
