Thomas was born 3:39 pst, 7.1 pounds 21″ march 4 2011…..i dont know what to do with my self right now….we are both mega tired….the family’s has been mailed and skyped with…maybe its time for a nap…should have brought beer and cigars…everything went fast, and he has 10 fingers and 10 toes…and a huge sack og balls LOL

being an undertaker for over 20 years, I have dealt with lots of people who have lost children… It is a very uncomfortable situation.. all I think is thank God my kids are alright.. I sure would not want to be on the other side of the desk 😥
the swaddle does look long….kid is 20.5″
got wife and kiddo home a couple of hours ago….very happy to be home….
if you think he looks Chinese…you should see the Chinese children….but at this stage theres not much difference
old kid is begging for attention…and he is getting the majority of it…think he senses he is no longer the center of attention

jaundice is normal…levels had come down today so its ok
here comes sleepless nights, zombie diaper changes….and a shitload of baby pooh, and its the thin breast milk stuff…nasty but funny enough doesnt stink as bad as when they start regular food omg…smells like 2 week old dead animal left in the sun
one thing that really had me thinking was when i left the hospital to go home yesterday…there was this loud cry of a grown woman, and what i guess was her family standing in the doorway to her room looking akward….this was no ordenary cry it was fucking horrible, i overheard the nurses talking, turns out her 5 day old kid had passed away, they had been sleeping, baby in crib and it just stopped breathing…when she had noticed it was too late
holy crap with a newborn and a 19mo old….i dont know what i would do…its just horrible….and imagening what went through the mommy’s mind….i means she was probably beat, tired and exhausted…finally caught some ZZZZ’s to wake up to a cold dead baby….horrible

well mommy want to go home….kid allmost failed a jaundice test…so now they wont let them go..thought allmost failed is same as passed ….but i guess they wouldnt score the 3rd day payment from the insurance if they didnt keep her….capitalistic bastards….she is tired of the crappy bed…and wants to go home….you would think that in a maternity ward that they would have beds that would be nice for the recently stretched bottom parts….but no…i tried the bed…feels like one of those inflateable bed stuffed with flattened hay by the 10000 people that has been it before her….
then theres the nurses…not a single born and raised american…they all seem importet
their memmory or way of passing info to each other at end of shift seems to be fucked up as well….she told them she wanted to go home…more than one time…basicly told every new nurse that….yet they where clueless when at 3pm she asked if she could go….thay asked why….uhmm the crappy tasteless food….bed…tv with what ever an indoor tv antenna can get…..list goes on
on the upside….kid and i had a man night…watched bambi and ate pizza…real manly….even skipped the shower LOL….we will have another one yay went to park…drove rc….flew heli….visited mom and baby…carls junior burgers and fries on the way home….what a freaking awesome day !!! kid is tired so he will be sleeping soon….got jackass 3 on bluray…cant wait to see it….its a great day
guess tomorrow all hell will break loose….

Did you notice on the first kid everybody always asks how the kid is.
sometimes hows mom but never dad?
took awhile ,but I figured it out, By asking about kid it answers a slew of questions all at once! if kids doing OK means moms doing OK and happy and DADS NOT CATCHING HELL!!!!

Congrats on the new addition!!!! I have one of each… My first was a boy and then a girl.
I always tell my brother who has 2 girls… He must not have got it in far enough to make a Boy… I guess I must have short stroked my second one 😀 😀
