PS-22 Night Vision QR Mount
I used to use the Scope Mount for my PS22. Clamps onto the end of the scope and droops quite a bit. If the knob comes undone a bit the NV WILL fall off and if it gets a slight tap it WILL get out of alignment. Combine that with it being a PITA to attach in the dark it SUCKS… especially for $100.
I assembled the following for $54 and for each new gun I want to use it with it will cost me another $20 to add the QR scope mounts to it.
I did some measuring and spent a while looking for the right combination of mount’s and riser’s so the PVS would be mounted level and this combination is less than 1/2mm off – Anything within 3mm is acceptable.

NC Star Medium QR mounts from Sportsmans Guide – $20
3/4″ Picatinny Riser eBay – $10 each
12″ Picatinny Rail – $14

Bushnell Legend scope – but will work with most any 1″ tube scope’s which is a big benefit over the ATN Scope mount which only works with a handful of scope objective sizes for each kit and each one of those is $100.

Back on my 410 to get everything lined up.

Rail assembly attached to QR mounts

Larue style knockoff mount that came with the PS22

Finished setup. I can either leave the rail on the gun and just undo the one lever on the NV to remove, or I can undo the two lever’s on the scope to release the rail for use on another gun that has the QR mounts on the scope.
Very minimal sag on the Picatinny rail when the PS22 is attached to it, same result accuracy wise as I get when the PS22 is mounted to the top rail of my Talon SS which is much stiffer.

Good Job YN!. I have always tried to buy scopes with 40mm bells and side focus so I could switch my PS 22 easily from rig to rig, but alas you have freed me from the limited light gathering that 40mm’s are subjected to!!! Maybe now I will consider one of those bushy elites that pop up from time to time on the yellow (front focus) 😀
