Edgun Matador Parts needed as Tony doesn’t have them. HELP!
Guys,
I appreciate this forum and do appreciate everyone’s patience. As I just received my used Matador, the thing won’t hold air and after talking with Ed, it appears I need the following parts to fix my problem.
I’m desperate as I just bought this and am concerned that I may not find any of these parts and Ed may not be able to ship the replacement parts.
HELP!!!!

At $1600 a pop, we all sweat when our Edguns don’t do what we want. Nine times out of ten it is operator error, or prior owner neglect. The other time it is a fast and easy fix.
That’s the great thing about the Edgun…it works so well because it is just plain simple, and of the highest quality parts. But…an O ring is an O ring, and sometimes we all have to live with plastic or nylon valve parts. Man does not live by metal alone.
Old Goat, I forgot about trimming my bagworms with that Edgun you bought. My wife laughed when I got it out. 40 to 60 feet up, a 1/4″ limb, and four shots. One at the top of the branch, one at the bottom, and two in the middle. No misses! If my cataracts hadn’t been acting up, it would have been a three shot job. But then I’m not the man I used to be.

😆 I trim the grass , you know those dam dandy lions that grow like 6” after you cut the grass. I feel lke i am cheating with a .22 😀
All is good guanshee I can understand how you feel and it is easy to get that way, when the parts arrive and you get it all back in order you will look back and realize you just got a bit over anxious 😯 😯 😯 I been there to just remember this Air gun shit is just a hobby and have fun with it no matter what!!! And you know somehow in the back of my mind I allready new that HOOT!!!!! would come through and solve your problem well what else can I say it happened, he is the best in my book! and I have his Edgun to proof it! Every time I pick it up to shoot it I get this crazy look in my eyes and totally loose it and have to go shoot something! Oh I know I remember now branches off a tree HOOT used to trim his trees with the Edgun 😯 😯 😯 😯
Thanks for the humor as I do need it. It is tough to finally get an Edgun and realize it can’t hold air ARGHHH!! It just stares at me with the sense that don’t you want to shoot me. It is like having a Ferarri and not being able to drive it, because there are no brakes…
Anyways, Tony and Ed are great in helping me out. I already put my new toy in the closet to remove the anxiety. You know what they say, out-of-sight, out-of-mind.
I’ll just wait for Tony and Ed to come through while I take a stiff drink. 🙂
Ed and Tony have so far been stellar in their dealing with the public. It is important to give people time to respond.
I am sure most everyone here knew Ed and Tony would take care of this matter ASAP.
Remember English is a second language to them so it is best to be clear in want you want and not bombard them with verbiage.

To everyone, I want to apologize if I gave the impression that Tony doesn’t have any parts. I misunderstood as he emailed me that he had only the spare valve assembly.
I also apologized for bombarding him with emails, but you have to understand my frustration of getting the parts I need to get this Edgun working again as it is sitting around at this time.
Again, Tony has been great in responding back to me and do just want to get this Matador working.

JUST TO CLARIFY SOMETHING:
I received about a dozen of emails regarding this matter (not counting PMs) from Oliver within the last 24 hours.
And spent time answering them, however this was not appreciated and now Oliver makes it sound like Tony is a (carelss person) who has no spare parts.
THE TRUTH IS THAT TONY HAS ALL THE PARTS, all o-rings are available as well as the main valve asembly etc.
It is your free choice to get them from Ed however please do not make any statements which are not true.

Just recieved Guanshee’s edgun. holds air well. Will test it out this weekend.
