27" P-rod With Folding Stock
Greetings Fellow Swine!
As we stand on the hillsides of life, scratching our collective asses, and watch the approaching cascade of financial and political shit, with dull, lifeless, uncomprehending eyes…I have been busy.
The folding stock came today, and I am much pleased. 27″ OAL folded. 36″ open.
A simple snap into Jim’s adapter, three grub screws, and it is secure. Amazon.com $30.00 ea.
The stock stores on the left side. It is pushed down to unfold. It snaps into place quite firmly, and is superior to the collapsible stock shown in earlier pics.
Jim’s shroud extender, and my permanently attached mini-can, has reduced sound to nothing more than the hammer slap and pellet impact. No muzzle report…nada…nyet…zippo…bumkus…zero!
I am testing another forearm. Black, textured.

I spend all night in the shop making these amazing adapters. I’m starting to wonder if I’m leaving her “unattended” too long.

I vouch for his perfect threading and shroud to adapter fit. It looks OEM and believe it or not, that extension on the M-rod or P-rod shroud can get you down to seriously low muzzle sound. If you use a moderator, because you need serious, dead, quiet, that’s the way to go. I’m dropping everything but the neighbor’s cats in my yard and they are none the wiser.
I’m running about 20 fps at 675 fps with 18.1gr JSBs, and you CANNOT hear this carbine discharge from 20 feet. It’s hammer slap, and pellet impact, and the pellet impact is louder than the hammer.
I am now a serious advocate of small pressure relief holes at the back of the shroud. No more than four to six, and 1/64th or so diameter. If the holes are too big, say you are maxed out on air pressure, and you get a sound from them, you can wrap the barrel with SS scouring pad material to slow down the air and keep everything under control.
I’m happier than WOK with a gift card at a Golden Corral….

Jim here. Hoot was nice enough to send me his P-rod so I could make these things for him. Now I’m making them in bunches for everyone else.
The P-rod to Tippman 98 stock adapter is $35.
The P-rod to LDC adapter is $15.
I can make the LDC adapter male, female, or finished end with a hole for the pellet. M/F are 1/2″ long. Finished is 2.5″
I don’t make or sell the LDCs.
