Q:

32 caliber 909 day 1

Put a TOW .312 x 28 inchs long 1 in 16 twist barrel on my 909 . Same barrel as my JH. 32 . No other changes were made . Will at http://saddlemountaingunsmith.com/ did the lathe work and sent me the barrel un blued . I sanded it with 400,600,1500, 2000 grite and then polish it with semi chrome for now . Marvin

Ran out of time but here are some numbers I ran on it today . Will finish it up another day .Marvin

hmmmmmmmmm..NICE..dang it now you got me thinkin bout another AG 😀 😀 …those 909 are a great deal IMO thanks for info Mello did you tune the 909 yourself?? tezzfla

The numbers are just about the same at this point . The accuracy testing will have to wait a while . Range is flooded right now . The weight of my home case bullets are listed above the strings . The barrel is accurate on the JH32 and that is why I am not worried about it working out on this rifle . Mike Sayers makes those TOW linners . There are not that many barrel makers in the US . The 909 was tuned for low fill preasures . 797 fps at 2300 psi. 142 grain bullets .Marvin

marvin, interesting numbers there how does in rank w/ the JH 32 numbers?? also is the 909 in stock form?? or has it been tuned? and also has the new barrel inproved the accuarry?? BTW the chorme barrel does look sweet on her 🙂 oh yeah what weight pellets are you using?? and are they your casts? thanks . terry
