P-rod Adjustment Instructions

Hammer Spring Adjustment (3/16” hex key)
This adjustment increases the blow pressure to the valve. There are seven (7) rotations available for maximum blow pressure.
Clockwise increases spring tension for heavier impact.
Counter-clockwise decreases spring tension for lighter impact.

Hammer Throw Length (1/8” hex key)
This adjustment decreases or increases the valve open time. There are twelve (12) rotations available.
Clockwise decreases valve open time, reducing air flow.
Counter-clockwise increases valve open time, increasing air flow.

The valve, therefore, is at highest setting when “full out” counter-clockwise. It comes to a hard stop at full out, and may be the factory default setting for your pistol. To check this, turn the hex key clockwise very hard to see if it breaks the loc-tight and allows hex key movement. Do NOT use excessive force on the hex key, counter-clockwise, as it may be at the full open stop.

Remember: The bolt must be cocked before adjustments can be made!
Both hex wrenches fit into the hole in the back of the breech. Insert them fully and turn gently until they fall into the correct hex nut opening. Obviously, only one adjustment can be made at a time.
