wondering about 28 grain eun jin
what are some thoughts on this pellet for a moded talon ss ? and what are others numbers distanst and accurey ? if u need and info from me just ask

gearhead i have a good collection of most pellets, i bought some of everything when i bought the condor and i had not had a .22 air gun before , so i figured i would try allot of differant ones.gamo, eunjin,rws, kodiac,crowmag,crossman,jsb ..
i have tuned on the rifle with each pellet to see where the gun would shoot . I shoot crossman hp for the most part ,because they are cheap and i can just buy them at walmart, but i have the eunjins and others sitting waiting for me to play with, like for the most part i shoot the crosman at 850 to 950 fps, but if i need to go after bigger critters i can go to my notes and tune my gun for the 32grain eunjin at 980 to 1000 fps.
and if i want to go for best accuracy at longer ranges i will get out the jsb’s , i still have not decided which jsb pellet i like best, so i keep the 14, 15.9 and the 18 grain pellets .
well found out they are ok i put 9 inthe same place at 66 feet (my backyard ) and opened it up to a .50 maybe they seam to like going in the 950 or faster. but the kodiacs i kind like better i just wanted a little more waight in my pellet. but i am thinking they arnt worth it yet but iv only shot 40 or so so far. and iv got three tin and even if the rest are crap they knock the hell out of soda cans filled with water lol good for show i guess
allot of pellets shot erratic for me until i found the velocity that they wanted, I think the 28 grain did not shoot to bad at lower velocities but the 32 grain was not very consistent until i found the 980’s area for them, and the barrel was very seasoned in too at this time.
But like Pab’s said , shoot what it likes for now, then you can learn to tune to the pellet to play around later.
It will take a bit to learn how to tune your rifle to an exzact fps, but it will come later.
Not many barrels like the Eunjins. I’m guessing the positive feedback from these guys will be the only good thing you hear about them.
If you aren’t getting good results from them, give them up.
k kool it just seams like there all over the place but iv only shot about 30 of them and im kinda shocked at the little kick it gives so im thinking i just need to get use to them. what were some of your distences u shot
I have heard many stories on quality control issues with sizing…I myself have never had a problem with “oversized” pellets. I have shot many tins in both .22 and .25 and have NO complaints. They were very accurate in my .22 24″ condor and they are very accurate in my AAA .25 condor 24″ barrel. I never had any luck with kodiaks in any of my LW barrels. My barrels like EJ’s JSB’s and my .25 does good with 7 ring surefires as well.
I don’t think I would shoot the EJ 28 gr’s in my 12″ barrel SS. Don’t think I’d get them moving fast enough.
well thats good enoughf for me. i have another question what diamiter is the hole in a stock condor valve. i dont have a cron but lat time i shot at one whitch was tims at mac 1 i was get 21 grain cuds at about 980 that with the one peace valve i made and a 65 gram hammer and a 24 in barrle setting 6 now its on setting 7 with the eun jin and dam they are hard to load sometimes. also how do they compare performance wise the eun and the kodiacs.
Dont know what your after, but they work great in my condor and shoot best in the high 900’s. 1/2″ at 50 yards is not allot of trouble. and have shot 3/8″ . they hit like a brick. have shot the 32grain also and they work about the same for me. the 28 grain load much easier.

i shoot the 26 gainers from my .20 Beeman RX and they are very accurate and hit like a sledgehammer at 50 yards.
i found they were ‘dirty’ with lead shavings and quite oily from the factory tin.
i washed and lubed them with a few drops of pelloil.
