I broke down and put one of my Hawke Sidewinder Tacticals (6.5-20) on Stubby. Its a little more weight than the Hawke Varmint but the reticle is simply the best.

The Stubby is amazing. I reduced the area sparrow population for about an hour this afternoon and my farthest shot was 66 yards. Under 40 yards I just stood and used a door to rest against. The balance is perfect on this setup vs the front tank nose-heavy jobbers that really need a rest sitting down. I am still on the first tank fill after 20 shots and counting…
It’s clearly a carbine by definition. I plan on using it in the urban jungle. :4:

I just found out the forearm of the stock has a place to add an attachment point underneath for a bipod, etc.
I should have posted a picture. As I mentioned I can put my hi-flo tank from the Condor on it for more shots and less velocity for plinking (about 750 fps with Kodiaks). Quite a versitile setup. The balance and comfort leel of the stock is what sold me on the stock addition besides just looks. It feels like an extension of your body where my basic Condor feels a little weird now. You don’t want or need a trirail scope mount with this stock setup like I need on my Condor.

GIve Randy a call at R&L. The R&D effort was long and tough. They needed to achieve air efficiency with the performance bost and found out the many shortfalls of heavier hammers, etc that many many others have tried that waste a lot of air.
