As a forum owner myself, I know what a pain in the ass it is to keep spammers out. Be pissed at the spammer, not the forum owner.
btw, my forum software has settings where if a post is flagged a certain number of times (you can set that), the user is frozen and their posts are removed from public view (until approved by a moderator).
Just ignore the spammer, he will eventually get zapped and go away!
