Hammer slap noisy?
Hi, what’s the best way to silent the hammer slap no the Gunpowet stealth?
I’ve tried various things but it’s quite noisy, has anyone got ideas?

Click on the talon banner theres a slap mod on there.
Also ber in mind that you ear is not far from the guns action so your not going to get the benifit from the mod, get some body else to fire the rifle wile you stand downrange from the shooter.

Hammer slap is going to be a problem on any gun with a mechanical valve. The loudest noise on my Edgun was….you guessed it, hammer slap.
I tricked out a P-rod until it was so quiet, there was literally no noise at the muzzle….and, you guessed it, the loudest sound was hammer slap.
If you do too much to quiet it down, you will likely lose proper impact with the valve.
As the previously poster noted, you are inches from the impact zone. That sound does not travel very far at all. As he said, let someone else shoot it and you back off about 50 feet or so. You may be pleasantly surprised.
