could be a little off, wind was blowing dead in my face all damn day. not bad though, avg. fps. 1037 . couldn’t do shit for groups, wind just blew them all over. best i could manage was a 2 inch group at 100 yds. even at 50 i couldn’t do any better than about an inch and an eigth. i’ll try it again , when they turn the fan off, up here. 😆

Lookin good Big Man…
Glad you like that Beast…..send me a pm or email and I will send some Eun Jins for you to test. For all out stopping power, go to our man Jerry…..
Good luck, Tony

a lot of the credit for that 2 inch group has to go to shit luck, i think. 🙂 i may pick up a tin of kings, just to see what they’ll do. will probably get some of jerry’s slugs after i get the bird shot in and sorted out a little better. i’ve heard too many conflicting reports about the ej’s. don’t know if they’re worth trying or not. i want to look into a custom mold sometime in the future, start casting my own. i’ve got a few ideas that i want to try out. don’t worry, i’ll let you know how it all shakes out, when i do. in the meantime, i’m gonna shoot the shit out of it every chance i get 😀 😀 :4:

The problem with the higher speeds may not show up at shorter ranges…it will manifest at longer ranges…The pellet may destabilize as it slows….

I myself have never had any luck with the kodiaks…at least not in .22 My barrel never shot them well. It always liked anything JSB and EJ.

My .25 likes the kings best and it also groups the EJ’s very well. You should try the EJ’s if you are after power and of course the MOTHER OF ALL FPE: The Surefire slugs.

Lets see, 2″ groups at 100 yards in windy conditions….I’d say that is some mighty fine shooting, hell in ideal conditions you might be the most accurate shooter/rifle combo on TAG 😀

first off, she’s a .25 AAA condor by Tony. second, i was getting 3/8 inch groups at 50 yards the other day , so i ‘m pretty satisfied with the kodiaks at that fps. yesterday was a real bitch to shoot, it was kind of like trying to shoot in a hurricane, minus the rain. i’ve had the gun about 3 weeks, and that was only the second time i’ve had enough time to do any serious paper punching. still getting the feel of it. i’m a truck driver, so i ‘m not home much, and when i am, i got a lot of honey-do work to catch up on. if i get a nice day next time in, i’ll do some more chrony work and post some groups. i forgot to take my camera along yesterday 😳 . from what i’ve seen so far, i’m really impressed with this little cannon 😀 . it’s going to pretty much take the place of my .22 mag and my .17hmr , because it’s quiet and i can get permission to hunt places that i wouldn’t otherwise be able to access due to a number of reasons. over all, you could say i’m one happy f***ing camper 😀 😀 😀

I would say the more likely problem is trying to push the Kodiak at those kinds of speeds. If you are looking for high fpe, Kodiaks aren’t the pellet of choice. Try the Eunjins and if you are lucky they’ll shoot ok out your barrel. Or if you stick with Kodiaks, lower the speed to 900-950 and you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the increased accuracy, wind or no wind.. 😉

My stock condor with JSB 18.1gn was spitting them out at 1100fps dropping to the high 900s after 20-30 shots. I’ll post the string here in a day or two.

What cal.?

WOW…Guess I’ll go play with my daisy red rider with a real wood stock.

Great shooting Longhunter ❗ ❗

beeman kodiak match. the test groups Tony sent were a little better with the JSB’s, but i wanted more fpe. than they would give me. i’m hoping to get a calm day to chrony the bird, again. maybe i’ll get lucky before i leave for work thursday. want to try for some better groups, i know what the gun and i are capable of and in the occasional periods of relative calm i managed to shoot the tops off of a bunch of dandelions. pesky little critters 😆 😆

Wish my condor would spit out a string like that.
What pellets did you use.
