make sure you have your hammer spring and valve spring balanced one with the other. You do this by adjusting the tophat over a chrono. Once you find the top hat setting and hammer spring setting you can then adjust the pressure in the tank to find the best fill pressure.

How exactly do you get both springs balanced? I would think that tank fill pressures would change the valve spring balance.
