optimal hold…
i have been having problems trying to perfect my rear grip hold for optimal accuracy. i am wondering if i should take advice from pistol shooters, AF rifles having a pistol grip, or maybe you guys got some other ideas for the optimal grip. please respond with a detailed description of your perfect grip, and help a fellow TAG brother/AF addict recover his marksmanship skills.(it dont seem right that with a gun like mine that i cant stack pellets at ten yards…it is very depressing, considering ive been shooting 25 years…) 😥 😥 😥 please help, brothers… :banghead:

I have cut to wedges out of 2x 4″ and nailed plywood to that to make a angled rear top to slid the rear bags up and down to mate to the straight bottle butt stock of the condor,

crosman HP 10 shot group at 50 yards, roll sorted

Top and third right is a crosman ultra mag 5 shot group at 50 yards
I don’t shot co2, but i have shot thousands of cphp, and they need sorting for 1 hole groups at any distance. Straight out of the can if my condor is on its tune , i can shoot 5 shot group at 50 yards and 2 or three pellets will be in the same hole , the others will be in various places, or within a 1/2″ to 3/4″ from the main group and if you get a wild one it could be as much as an inch away from the group.
Butt sorted you can get groups with all touching,
You can do the Yarr (from Yellow forum) roll sort ,and it will do wonders for the cphp. or get some jsb pellets, get the 14 grain in the blue can if you are already shooting the 14 grain pellets to keep the same fps area for really good groups , but they need sorting to for the utmost precision.
This is a post on roll sorting,,, there is a short video there you put cursor on and click too.

at 10 yard you should be able to get one pellet hole 5 shot groups, with sorted crosman hp pellets.the co2 is running like 500 fps and i have shot high pressure air show in this fps range with these pellets and they shoot good in this range also, they are not very picky about fps for the most part they will shoot good from 450 fps to 1000 fps, if i had to say the best fps range for the crosman pellets it would be 800 fps, and low 900’s fps range.
