Revised Question: Sidwinder 30 versus Swift Premier vrs SS
I have narrowed my choices down to 3 scopes that focus to 10 yards.
Hawke Sidewinder 30 (probably 4-16), Swift Premier 6-18 and a Super Sniper 10×42. 2 Variables, one fixed, all mil dot. I have an older SS 10 x 42 and like it very much. Surprisingly all 3 of these are within a few ounces so no compelling weight advantage. Opinions please. I want hgih quality image, durability quality adjustments. The swift is 1 inch which means that can use the burris premium rings with the cool adjustable inserts to keep it near optic center. Not sure how big a deal that is but it seems like a good idea.
