Those are off a bipod and no rear rest besides my hand.

The real issue is it’s super sensitive to different types of ammo which may have something to do with the fact it’s a semi auto. I changed the bolt and that created all kinds of problems because it was about twice as heavy as the original and it was a Volquartsen too. 😡 Took it to the drill press and lightened it a bit which appeared to help but it’s too much trouble for a 50 yard rifle.
I have to strip it down completely to clean it, it’s quite a process compared to my other rifles. Only thing worse is my BP revolver…
From the rumors on the street 😆 a barrel tuner is a great way to get different ammo to work well in these rifles. 😉 Oh and get a magazine loader, those little bastards are tough to load.
It’s a great rifle to get into target shooting if your looking to go up in calibers eventually! And for younger shooters, a great starter rifle for your kids Crow!
Oh I don’t doubt that it’s considerably more accurate than standard. Just a lot of dollar for a rifle that can’t ‘one hole’ at that range.

Wow, looks like a lot of money for pretty average groups Syn! I’ve never heard many good things about the 10/22. Shot one a few times just for the giggles, and farting off a fistfull of rounds at a fleeing rabbit is good fun. But I would agrre x1000 that a bolt action is a far better choice.
I wouldn’t waste my money on a 10/22 again. Go bolt action, more accurate and easier to clean.
You’ll sped 3x the price of the original rifle to get it close to the trick ones CP posted… And all but one of the trigger sets for it are absolute crap. 😉
I got about $300 to $400 over the list price in this one to get these groups…
0.3″ center to center (or less), 5 shot groups at 50 yards…
