O ring mod necessary?????
Just wandering are the O ring mods provided by talon tunes really necessary, as in do they help with velocity,accuracy, etc. ❓

1 is for hammer slap noise. 2 & 3 are for performance.
Which o-ring mod are you speaking of:
1) Breech face o-ring mod
2) 90 Durometer o-ring breech to barrel upgrade
3) Valve stem seal o-ring replacement mod
1) maybe

Regarding less distractions and more consistency in air power.
yah.. ill do that, i think its just a gone bad oring.
I you have the 2nd gen AF valve it should have the oring mod you speak of. Maybe the orings went bad? Also could be the breech slide orings leaking. You could use a tissue to see where the air is commng from.
Mine has only a slight air leak, almost nothing, but it does get kinda annoying after a couple shots.
My valve has never leaked from there. But if you feel a burst of air when shooting from the valve it can be necessary.
thanks for the advive, didnt think of it that way… makes since, ill probally end up doing that.
Are good tires necessary for a sports car? Sure if you to go really fast but it will still drive with cheap tires. If you going for top accuracy and power most mods will help achieve those ends and that is why they are done.
