Are the so called jerrys slugs good????
as in lik are they accurate,overpriced, etc.. for .25 cal . cause they look lik they would tumble through the air?????

colster1000 – they fly very well as they are bridging the gap between a pellet and an arrow. If you airgun is up to it, as you want to push these at no less than 700 fps, which means you best have some power mods before going to the 6 ring which is 60+ gr.

Cost per shipping… well best figure if you are modded up to handle them first and if you are, then how many large critters do you have to take down ?
Buy a lifetime’s worth if that is what your gear is setup for.

yeah, they rip holes in paper as clean as poly mags do. They’re looks are deceiving as I thought the same thing when I first saw them.
I pushed the 70 gr 7 rings at 800 fps and I managed a decent group at 100 yards (I think it was under 3″).
I never had the chance to try them moving a little faster. I believe in my heart of hearts that they will group much better traveling a little faster. I would say they would be best served with a gun set up specifically to shoot them.
They are priced very well considering what goes into making them….
I’ve used the seven ring slugs on wild chickens and roosters, and the effect is devastating. For my hunting, they’re way better than even the pointed Eun Jins.
Jerrys Surefire Slugs fly very well. You won’t hear a bad word about them.
Surefires are fair priced in my opinion. Mr hollowpoint has some high prices.

I think you’ll find a couple folks here had the same questions three years ago. Fortunately the for sale thread and a few others you can find here answered those questions. If you read all the info here, you’ll end up knowing what gus, barrels, power levels etc. are required to shoot the heavies.

I ordered 200 6-rings and have shot maybe 65 of them but I have them really tweaked now. I have been using them for opossum, coon, and coyote if I can call one in. They are devestating on a 9-10 lb opossum.
They are right at 855 fps, 100 fpe with an 18″ barrel and an R&L Extreme valve. Some of the guys with 24″ barrels and modded valves are getting maybe 112 fpe. I wanted to shorten my Condor and lighten it a bit.
