think its lookin like a condor
not quite finished with this one. I need to get some micro drill bits and some more jewelers blades to make interior cuts to define between the talons.
I also have to sharpen it up with needle files, polish the bajesus out of it, make one more and decide how to utilize them.
I am undecided if I will contour them and attach them toward the front of the frame on each side or inlay them in a stock that is rolling around in my thoughts.
anyway Im on a mission to personalize my bird. 😉

Oh yah, as far as difficulty. I used a jewelers saw that was my Grandfathers from the fifties as were the blades. I broke 6 of them right away until I followed what my father told me years ago. Let the tool do the work, use a light hand. 75 % of the cuts were done with the last blade.
Both my father and my grandfather were both expert toolmakers and I wish they were still here to teach me to properly use the tools they have left me.
The hardest part is patience.
Thanks guys, I think it looks like an eagle also. I got a silhouette off google pics that looked cool and it was listed as condor so I ran with it. Guess I’ll have to scrap it. 🙄
I think the Wok Guard is bitchin, but this is my first condor and have my mind set on accessorizing it with my own hands. My next one will definitely all wok’d up and tag dagger arrow convesion.
Anyways the wok guard won’t jive with my stock plans.
ahhh… actually the shorter wing span looks like an eagle. Maybe a longer soaring design would depict a condor better. Is it hard to build something that detailed ?
