Q:

Condor/Talon mix

I would like to put a Condor tank on my Talon .22. I don’t need or want the the extreme power of the Condor, I would just like to boost my Talon with a 24″ barrel, using 18gr JBS,s to 1000 fps.
My question is, will the stock Talon hammer work or do I need something a little heavier?
Could I just start with a lower start fill pressure, say 2200 psi?
What about using a heavy hammer and putting a spacer behind the tophat?
Any suggestions or confirmations would be appreciated.
One More, at this low power usage, could I expect a larger shoot count before needing a refill?

Maybe just add the hammer weight and test it out before getting a new valve and or tank?

If you use the high flow valve, go to the Airforce site and order the weight it cost $5 and it will shoot loke a 12″ barrel on a Condor. Also if you use the 24 inch barrel it will shoot like a Condor. Don’t do a lot of Top hat stuff, it just gets you confused, if it is shooting good, keep it there. From the Mid 800’ds to the high 900’ds is perfect for an airrifle. 😀
