What caliber? Length? What mods?
Reason I’m asking is that I’ve parted ways with my Edgun (and it is sorely missed) but I need a truck gun replacement.

Saw take a look at this pict. It is 3/4″ thick and the entire bottom rail of the rifle sits inside of it.
He sent sent me all his plans and templates as well as aluminum and all rights to them to be made. It is a significant amount of work to make one therefore there will be no more made of this style.
Saw, that pic above the target is the only one I have ATM.
Ill look for Woks original thread about this adapter but the photos might not still exist.
Is JFK still around ?

JFK did a great job on that adapter. He and I had talked about an AR15 adapter for a long time. He got his mini mill and I made some advice for a DRO and he then took off and dove right in.
He was nice enough to make me an adapter as well and gave me all rights and the plans to make the version he came up with. When I finally got off my lazy ass and made the WokGard I went with a design that would be afordable. The one JFK came up with is so detailed it would cost probably $250 to make them the way he did one at a time.
He is a great guy and Riff is lucky to get one. 😀

Pretty much as described, right down to the unobtainium description. The frame by YN and the grip adapter/trigger guard by JFK. Cant thank both of you guys enough. 😎
Right now its configured with a 12″ .22cal barrel. The shroud insert is just a 3 chamber core, 1 piece delrin rod drilled .300″ and chambers 7/8″ about 1/8″ apart.
As mentioned, YN chopped the scope rail off and milled a slot on the far side for the bolt handle, so this is a side-cocker. Ive given some carbon tubes and whatnot to YN, and he sent me this frame in return.
I used a very expensive adhesive for aluminum to bond the picatinny rail to the frame. After the bond set, I drilled and tapped the frame to give the rail extra security.
The grip adapter/trigger guard was 1 of 4 (I think) made by JFK, this one is the first prototype. I apparently said the right things about it when it was presented on this forum, as JFK sent this one to me free of charge. I’m still stunned and extremely grateful for that act of generosity.
The grips can be found online, they fit the AR-15. My bad on the rear grip, I cut the upper thumb guard off before test fitting to the adapter,

The folding front grip attaches to a small piece of picatinny that was made to fit the frame.
Both together give a very comfortable offhand shooting grip. I use this rifle to play yard golf and shoot hornets. (Plastic practice golf balls, real hornets).
The tank gets swapped between rifles (this one and the Condor), and wears a WokButt. Thats about the only custom part on this thing you can acquire.
I dont remember where I got the scope mount from. Originally I had a Kobra red-dot on this gun, and it shoots very well with either sight. The Kobra came on the Condor I bought for 500 bucks in 2009.
The free parts of this rifle far offset the parts I had to buy to finish it, so basically this is a $250 rifle.
Heres a 15 shot group at 30y (basically the last half of the tank) with JSB heavies, using the red dot. I was quite pleased with this result.
Definately unobtainium!!!!
The frame was chopped by our own Yellow Ninja and the trigger guard and grip adapter was made by our own JFK and is now unobtainium.
