Q:

Wolf Attack

I had traded my Ranger in on an Air Wolf CDT in .177 some time back and really like the gun… Mine is the older one with the 16 step power adjustment, but for some reason, it only has 6 power adjustments…which to me, is just perfect.

On high, it gives me 16fpe
-1 …..14fpe
-2……12fpe
-3……10fpe
-4……7.5fpe
-5……4.5fpe

I dont know exactly how many shots on a fill, but after 100 shots, I am still over 150 bar so shot count is not an issue.

After drooling over the MCT in one of Ted’s videos, I finally saved up and got one in .22. Simply an amazing gun…. Accuracy? It’s as accurate as I am and I know if I miss, it’s my fault.

The new MCT models have only 2 power settings…

using 18gr JSB’s on high I get 36.5fpe for around 120 shots and on low I get 28fpe for around 250 shots on a fill.

Here is the CDT with the MCT and then a pic of the MCT on its own. What looks like dust on the barrel and bottle is actually condensation from bringing it outdoors in the heat and humidity.

Damn that Huggett looks awesome…

😀

DAAAANG! 300 bucks for the HUGGETT huh? I bet the Euro’s are laughing at us right now cause we are complaining about a 300 dollar GREAT moderator. But i’m laughing at them too for having a silencer on a 12 ft rifle…lol

Low power for me. If 28fpe dont kill it, 36fpe likely wont either…. if I need more than that, I’ll grab the 25 or higher.

Besides, I’ve found that the low power does produce slightly better accuracy for me, at least with the 18gr JSBs.

the Hugget does look great, but… $300…nah. …and I live in the sticks so I dont need to worry about neighbors anyway so a silencer is strictly a novelty for me.

Wow, thanks Rob for the info, the gentleman I spoke with couple of months ago (not Jim) told me the only option was the Airstream. But you are right, it is too much money for what it is…even though I like the way it looks.

Btw, what setting you found best for your liking, High or Low?

quote Ambush Hunter:

I wish new Wolves were available with Huggett moderators though, not Airstream…

….Jim at Precisionair has the Hugget systems… asked if I wanted one for my new Wolf. I declined as it was a $300 option.

I wish new Wolves were available with Huggett moderators though, not Airstream…

No .20! I’ve held out for a long time on .20…. no real reason for the hold out, but no real reason to get one, either. I figure it will just clutter up my pellet drawer(s) more! 😆

Rob, what, no .20??? 😉

Gotta love Daystates, these girls will sure please their master…

Thanks gents….

No need for .25 right now…

Got a Condor in .25

I’m ‘almost’ covered…

got airguns in .177, .22, .25, .308, .32, .36, 50

Reckon that’ll do me!

I want the .25 and I will be a happy man!~
Daystate makes one hell of a pellet rifle.
I do not like the .177, I have the .22 and really need the .25 lol
You may “need” the .25 to round off a perfect collection!
Nice wood! 😳

Nice looking guns!!!!

beauties both of them ! i may get one after i finish my stint in this urban jungle i am consigned too. my tx is coming in spot on at 12 fpe and i am pretty happy with the effect it has on vermin. she has claimed 3 crows so far and loves the jsb exact heavies.

Very nice guns Rob. Congrats on the new baby. That is one hell of a shot count for sure….DAMN

Man what a shot count 😯 Very nice Rob!
