Q:

Condor – bushing placement

Has anyone considered adding a bushing or moving the bushing locations for a better whatever (stiffness, harmonics, shroud support, etc.)?

When you raise the power what velocities are you getting?

If your over 1050fps or so your going to get some crazy bad groups..

Try wrapping the bushings in a single layer of tape to get a better fit, if things get better or worse your question will be answered.

But if your exceeding the local sos your not going to get good accuracy. Oh and try a few different pellets too. 😉

I have not thought of that, but The more power I gave my Talon , the less accurate it got. I am up to a 24″ barrel and a Condor hi-flow valve and can’t keep it inside a grapefruit at 75 yds. I bought a tri rail for the scope mount and it helped, I might try another one on the lower shroud to try and stiffen the frame there. From my experiance with air pistols a floating barrel was always more desirable, this gun could be to stiff. Maybe more bushings floating inside the frame would take the flex out.
