BSA R10. My impressions, Feedback Wanted.
Got a chance to shoot some BSA guns today. One was the Sportsman HV and the other was the R10, both in .22. I’ve never shot either before but all I could say was WOW!!!
I had once thought about buying one but read all the bad press so I decided to pass. The owner has had zero problems with this or any of his BSA rifles (he has three).
It was superbly accurate, quiet and powerful. The trigger was good, it shouldered and pointed well. Shot well off the bags, sticks and my knees.
So what’s the word now. Has BSA worked out there problems. The rifles are priced right and I want one in .177.
What say you?
Paul

My friend has the BSA R10 MKII, the new one with the red magazine.
He is very pleased with the result.
Compared to the Edgun:
– every 5 to 7 shots a flyer.
– loudness as loud/quit
– only 30 shots available, but very consistent due to the regulator
– build quality is very good
– very nice stocks
