Talon SS shipping
Has anyone had the Talon SS shipped to michigan, since it has the shroud.Which i wouldnt think would be a problem just checking before i put in my order.

Forgive me, anyway, I was just in Aaz last week and the local shop
had a 50 BMG, wow, only $10,000, but I think you could buy it and walk out
with it if you had a valid Az Lic, no way that would go
down in Ca, fact of the matter is, for long guns here
gotta wait 10 days, handguns, ya gotta Pass a test
not hard to do by all means, fact is
I like long guns, last handgun I bought was 12 years ago
under a diff set of rules with a 10 day waiting period
To me, kinda funny if you live in Nev or AZ or whatever

hey saw the rant was perfectly fine with me,just kind stumps me that i got to buy my pistols all i have to do is throw my cpl/ccw card down fgill out two or three lines pay the man then i have a new pistol.The guy who owns the gun shop it took him just under 15 minutes in order for him to get a barret 10 round 50 b.m.g semi auto, infact we are raffleing one off right now just suppriseing to me. IMO THINGS NEED TO CHANGE

the problem isnt length its the shroud and that is one of the many buying points on the talon ss for me.Over all length isnt a problem its the shroud which by me shipping it to ohio and haveing my family member hand it to me its a private trade which makes it legal.Juat talked to one of the many local p[olice officers about it and hes a airgun shooter himself,and he told me its perfectly legal.Infact its what he does.
Why can’t you order a Talon SS with a 24″ barrel then buy a 12″ later? If PA would work with you on that, it might be the way to go.
Yea i work for a few local gunshops and its crazy i tell ya what you can buy a ar the same day but god fore bid its a .22 airgun,ive got family in toledo thankfully he said i can do that no problems soo i made the order just 5 minutes ago.

I lived in NW Detroit when I bought a new .22 colt pistol. Went thru the hassel of getting a permit to purchase. I think it was a week or two wait for it. Then back to the gun shop and picked it up. Had to take it to the local PD I think within a week. Left it with them to do ballistics on it. Called them a week later, not ready. Called then another week later,still not ready. Called them a third time, another week later and they said it’s ready so I picked it up the next day.
Sorry to drag you along but here is the punch line: I had placed a tiny drop of Non-Fluid Oil just inside the barrel breech. You guessed it, it was still there ❗
So back 40 years ago they didn’t do ballistics on all new hand guns. They just delayed the purchase by nearly a month. A lot of good that does ya :banghead:
Well just talked to PA and i have to have it shipped to the ohio michigan line to have a private trade and that makes it legal ugh
And creek ill be sending a talon ss,hawke airmax 4x16x50,and pa has the buy 3 get one free so haha i wish i had that type of money to do that.
True True calling PA tomorrow to have a look see.It took me over 5 month and 200 dollars plus the 400 for a .22 supressor i dont get it sometimes> Your right it didnt say anything about shrouds.

yea i figured that much ill just order the talon,and it does suck badly the thing that gets me is that my gun shop has two of them well ofcoruse they have a ffl

I am glad you found a way. It was my understanding that it is not the shroud itself but rather a device that suppresses the sound of the airgun in any way. With a barrel that is longer than the shroud, there would be no sound suppression. But you have it figured out so it makes no difference.
