Getting a Prod…what do I need too fill with Hill pump?
Hello to all… I’ve decided to get a Prod and wondering exactly what fitting is needed to fill the tank. I currently have a AF adapter on my pump and am not certain what is needed. PA mentiond that I can use a quick fill adapter on the Prod and wondering if there is a way to quick connect both adapters? And if I need a rail to attach a scope to the Prod? Thanks abunch….

The best mod is a more powerful spring from GMAC to replace the OEM light spring.
The second mod is to drill out the transfer port to about .132, but not larger. Anything frm .118 to .132″ will help a lot.
With just these two mods, took about 1/2 hour to install (five bolts, in and out) I am getting 780 fps 24 fpe with JSB 18.1 pellets. I get 16 good shots with fps going from 780 down to 600, thats 24 fpe down to 14 fps.
I’ve only done the chrony work so far, haven’t checked for POI changes. I’m going to back out the hammer throw so the valve doesn’t stay open for so long and waste air. That might level out the fps and extend the shot count.
Get the spring! It costs about $10 to $12. Here’s the link…

You might want to contact Marmot_Militia (Jim Gaska) for a shroud extension for $28.00, screws on seamlessly and helps with muzzle report.
I’m trying to find an air tube extension for the Prod to get a greater shot count. 220swift on airgunadvice is the only person I know currently who will make them. He’s thinking about doing another batch. I expect these to cost a little less than $100, perhaps more, perhaps less, I just don’t know because he is not selling them currently, but might make up another batch per his last post this weekend.
If you want power, these two mods will do the job. You will have to adjust the Prod a bit, takes a 1/8″ and a 3/16th inch hex tool to do the entire exchange.
Good luck.
