CCI Standard Velocity
Was running low on .177 pellets for my RWS 34P, so decided to check Dick’s Sporting Goods and Walmart.
I waited a year for Dick’s to open, and what a disappointment that’s been! Extremely inflated prices for pellets and bullets. They stocked .22 Crosman pellets for a time or two. I asked ’em to stock some .22 pellets and they said, Can’t stock an item for only one customer…? They sold out quickly, and I said, I’ll buy large quantities when, if you’ll stock them! Today they only had the Gamo-Sample 4 tin pack. I won’t waste my time or money on those. A 500 tin of Crosman .177 hollow points at Wal Mart would be the deal, today.
Also from time to time they stock CCI .22lr standard velocity, which my CZ452 Varmint likes, and I like the low muzzle report, as does my neighbors. Not even as loud as my .22 Condor was.
So I decided to look for the CCI standard Velocity .22lr’S and to my surprise they had some on the shelf, which had been rearranged like Wal Mart and Food Lion has done recently. I asked, how many bricks, and he said how many you want? He pulled out six and I asked how many more left and he said, four more. I said, Six for now will do, and on the way out to the car I decided to go back and get the other four bricks? At $24.99 a brick of 500 or $2.50 per 50 round paper box, best deal in town of all places, only at Dick’s sporting Goods. I bought 10 bricks in all and shot my ammo budget, but paid no shipping charges!
