25 condor 12" barrel
Thinkin about putting a 12″ barrel in my .25 Condor. 😮 Don’t get me wrong, I love the 24″ and the power it puts out. 🙂 Something to tinker with, i guess. 😎
My questions are:
Does anybody else shoot the .25 with a 12″ barrel ❓
If you do (did), what was (is) your exerience, good, bad or otherwise. ❓
If I were to do this, I would want to maintain the quiteness of the rifle. I currently have an Bullseye Bill LDC on the 24″ and would remove it to reduce the overall length of the rifle. Will the AF end cap for the 12″ barrel fit, keep it about as quite and work with a .25 caliber pellet. ❓
As always, I appricate your experience and input.

I have all three .25 barrels and have tried them all. I ended up with the 18″ in my Condor for carrying to the field. The 24″ is way too long with a shroud on it and a little long w/o it. I have a shroud on the 18″ and it gives the right combo of length, power, and noise. A better setup for the 12″ barrel is our Stubbys using a Talon frame but Condor powerplant. Even with a short shroud it is short. 27″ w/o and 31 with shroud. You can beef it up for 50 fpe or more.
