Not firing every now and then
Basically this happens at different pressures… Any were from 2850 psi and down.
I’ll take a shot cock the rifle insert the next pelleet and fire …. Except I get a ” dry fire” ?
The pellet doesn’t move a bit, No odd noise, and I get a hammer slap. Thats it. I’ve checked the tophat and it’s still set to the same place it was last year.
Any Ideas what could be the problem? Called Airforce they are stumped.

I thought about that, but every time I pull it back I make would get that click and roll it down to the right. It always fits nice and tight in the notch.
Maybe it is operator error, I must be getting OLD. 😯
I’ll double check it from now on to see if that was it.

Sounds like you are not pulling the breech far enough back after loading to seal on the top hat.

It happens alot with new AF owners and older ones….hahah
