Best gear for filling from SCBA?
I just got s free SCBA tank w/recent certification. I also got access to a fill station, and instruction on how to use it. All I need now is a set-up to fill my Condor from the SCBA tank. Who sells a good one? Is there a way to build my own from available parts? Any input is appreciated. Thanks in advace for your knowledge and help. 😀

I got an SCBA fill adapter from northshore compressor, one forty something for the SCBA connector, manometer, bleed, 5 feet of tube and female quick disco.
Couldn’t be happier, plus their customer service is phenomenal.

No doubt about it, for the first time user, there is nothing safer than Joe.

Darn, I can’t get the link to Northshore to work.
Anyway, read the first paragraph on Joe’s webpage. Not that a scuba shop would sell inferior rated paintball parts for use on HPA equipment but I like Joe’s qualifications and reason for getting into the business. Then too his micro bore hoses and special tank Bleeder arrangement saves me a little air as I do a lot of short fills while experimenting with different setups.
I suppose you could make a HPA mistake, if you have trouble chewing gum and walking 😆 .
Joe is great to work with but for a lot less money you can do it here. I buy a lot of stuff from this site http://www.Northshorecompressors.com, it is as good as it gets for quality.
I bought the stuff to cascade three scba tanks and to connect my regulator to my booster…well lets just say a lot of stuff.
For $147.00 plus 6 dollars freight you can get one. You may still need a male nipple for the Air Force fill adapter, both places have them.
Joe will sell you one for $163.50 delivered JOe will sell you the best there is, and you do not need to worry about if you messed it up. I bought my first one from Joe myself.
Thing is, use teflon tape on the connections, and do them as tight as you can get them, if you have ever worked with ridgid iron pipe you probably have the skills to build one.

Looks like Joe’s going to get my business. I can’t believe my good luck with getting a free Draeger SCBA tank and access to a commercial quality fill station. Thanks for the advice all. :18:
