cheers for answering my question 😀 thought it may have been because he was running a rapid and wanted to run 2 rifles with 1 set of buddy bottles

Yes he has had alot of rapids over the years, and if he gets another one he will have spare bottles to use on that as well, It would be nice if all gun manufacturers use the same bottle valves, so bottles could be interchangeable, and would only need one fill adaptor.

The volume of the bottle on a rapid S type is the same as the Stealth bottle .5L. Shot count will depend on the power setting. My friend is using two half Litre bottles. So the shot count should be very high even at high FPS.

volume as the af bottles? does it get more or less shots per fill?

The reason for making this adaptor with a Theoben fitting is because a friend of mine wanted to take a spare bottle with him on his hunting trips. Because its nearly impossible to get two matching valves this was the best way to get more shots without having to carry a hand pump or scuba bottle. You can also take the bottle off without losing all the air in it, and to do any work on the valve. This crank fitting also drops the bottle 35mm, and with the bottle being removable you dont need a quick fill on the side of the adaptor. I’ll put some pictures of it fitted to a complete frame soon.

can you change botlle only without valve while under pressure?

And for another, not all valves are are matched so will shoot differant.
This way the valve stays the same. Just the air is changed.
Good work Bazzle.

Well for one thing he has better ergonomics.
