Q:

Are new Condor Valves already bored and beveled

Is this standard on a Condor Valve to have the spring retainer nut bored out and the face beveled ? My new one is.

I saw a lot of folks here doing this and just wondered.

The brass retainer in my brand new standard Talon valve was already beveled like that, but it needed to get bored out to condor size.

You should smooth out that angle. Make it’s shape more like a bell. Airforce must be watching the forums. I ordered 2 stems and the brass insert where the stem goes. Stem holes are drill closer to the taper and the brass piece comes with a larger o ring. Only $14.00 for the brass piece.

Yes that’s the main diff between the condor and the talon valve.

Mine was squared.

Any part that is involved with airflow up to the bullet that is beveled or has any edges smoothed or ovaled or tapered increase air flow.

As Tim at MAC1 sais, compressed air simply wants the fastest and less restrictive way out of a gun

cant really remember what mine looked like stock, it’s been Sep , 09 ,since i saw it, but it looked like a intake turbine for a 747 jet when i got thru with it.LOL
