best setting

I want to know what is the best setting,
for JSB 16 and 18 grains.

Hello Blom. Welcome to the Tag and also Welcome to the Edgun owners club! There are a lot of crazy people here. This is also a good place for info.
I use JSB pellets exclusively. Ed designs his guns around them. I use the 18.1 grain pellets in my .22 standard and the 25.4 grain pellets in my 25 long.
I did some 50 and 100 yard testing on my 22 when I first got it. I tried it from 860 to 950 fps. I got the best accuracy between 880-920 fps. I set it at 890 for the better shot count.
I spent several days testing and adjusting my 25 long. As delivered, it shot the 25.4 grain JSBs at 1050 fps. Way to fast. I ended up turning the regulator down some and the hammer spring tension adjusting screw out a lot. I keep the 25 set at 890 fps also.
