Multiple airguns?…fun?….. Harrumph…..

If God had wanted you to have fun, He would have made you me!

PS: I’ve forgotten what we were discussing. I’m thinking about buying a Talon Pistol for snakes and such. Neat little package with lots of power. What do you think? Price is better than the Prod.

Hoot,

“Better off”?

It is about fun, having a mini talon to shoot would just be fun.

We are allowed to have more then 1 airgun. For you folks who simply want “The Best” and attain it you will find out that will not stop you from buying more airguns even though you already have the best.

It is about “Fun” if the gun is not fun to shoot, I do not want it.

‘Average…” where exactly do you live, and what are the going rates for a “line” and a “Quickie”???

Do they have drive-through??? Complimentary cold beer???

PS: So, Wok…honestly, if it weren’t for the .25 caliber, I believe most people would be better off buying the Prod. Eight shot repeater, it can be boosted up into the 750+ fps with no more than a TP drill-out, a GMAC spring, and a few adjustments on the hammer spring. At least it looks like a pistol, or a carbine if you want…the Talon pistol looks like a Talon SS rifle with a retarded 12 shot air bottle. I hear what you are saying…why else, beyond quality and performance, would people spend $1450 for a .22 single shot Lelya Edgun?

Life is strange. You are stranger than life. I am not life as you know it.

Compared to the talona and condors here with the mufflers, the talonp surely looks pistol size. I like the small tank, looks better proportioned to me, and seems a handy size. I second that wok. Hookers and blow are hardly practical

Doesn’t that make it as long as it would be with a standard tank?

Whenever you put a shoulder stock on a pistol it gives it the same LOP as a rifle. But now the user has the option to switch back and fourth depending on what they want to do.

Remember guys shooting these airguns is about fun.

If we really were concerned with practicality and making sense then we would not be spending big buck on BB guns 🙂

Having something fun and unique is a big part of all hobbies.

Kinda makes you wonder why AF didn’t consider that when they came up with this abortion.

There are no redeeming features about this “pistol” concept. It was a stupid move on AF’s part, while the Evanix group is going gangbusters on innovative ideas to make air gunning a unique sport.

There was a time when it would have been US that came up with these innovations, not the third world.

I have made a few of these for the Talon P

Any pics with it installed?

I’m trying to find one of these pistols used, but not having much luck.

Don’t believe many of them sold in the first place. Anyone wanting that hardware in .25 caliber just added a .25 caliber LW barrel to a regular Talon SS and was done with it.

Perhaps I’m thinking this all wrong. A TalonP may be the incorrect answer for my project.

Sweet butt plate Wok! Kicks AF ass!!!

This thread has me thinking… Anybody do a shrouded & vented TalonP in .25 with a JDSAirman-EtecReg? Shot count and FPE? Could be a killer little setup with one of Adam’s stocks.

I have made a few of these for the Talon P

I’d definitely vent the front bushing, or at least grind a few grooves in it next to the barrel, that’s all that is needed to get air to the back. That can be done with a Dremel and a chainsaw blade sharpener stone attachment.

Just be sure to vent the shroud between the two bushings. I went three holes, but not too large or they make noise too.

Because, a bullpup requires a stock to conceal the trigger linkage. Now you got a bullpup stock, additional trigger and linkage, and that adds up to more than you paid for the gun to begin with.

Then, when you try to sell it…and you eventually will, you won’t get 1/2 of what you have invested in it.

If you want a bullpup, you are best off buying a bullpup. Yes, I know there are few of them on the market. They are a very specialized item and it is a select portion of the pcp buyers that choose to own one.

There’s only one bullpup worth spending the money on and that would be the Edgun. At least you can sell it for what you paid. And…it is ungodly accurate!

Well why didn’t you just say so…lol!!

I’ll just keep my Maddog Stubby. It give up a little length, accuracy and shots per fill to my old Edgun, but it’s more powerful, modular and 60% less expensive.

By the way, I’m thinking about venting the bushing. Did you like the way yours worked out?
