Like how the gun moved forward NANOSECONDS before the blast when he was just lookin DOWN THE BARREL…fake.

In the late 70s during National Guard summer camp in Camp Grayling, MI I was the driver for the mortar range safety officer. We were called to a 4.2″ heavy mortar platoon that had a round stuck in a tube. When we pulled up some NCO was poking a stick down the tube while looking down it with a flashlight in the other hand. The safety officer came unglued and I thought he was going to hit the NCO with his fist at first. He had his fist balled up and drawn back anyways.

WOW!

In my organisation we have to qualify, for safety reasons ,every six months on our weapon systems. Every year we have to qualify on things like flares and other pyrotechnics. Last time one of our female insructors misfired a miniflare and promptly looked into the TOP of the misfired round. Fortunately it did not fire into her face but there were twenty guys there reaching for the first aid pack. 😆

Darwin missed.

I never look down the muzzle of a gun barrel. If I can’t see through the breech or remove the barrel, I don’t look through it?

Looking down the barrel of a loaded gun, in a hang fire situation, accident in the making!

Sam 😕

damn thats one lucky bastard …. if i was in his sho .. ill never even think owning a toy gun with lights again :nono:

Thanks for that link Walkonking! Even though it was staged it will make a good addition to the one that I show kids about gun safety. I would like to share one of my favorite videos of a hunt gone bad. Watch as these hunters are caught in their own crossfire.

I bookmarked this video long ago. Before I let a youngster shoot my guns I give them a little safety course and include this video show them how important it is to remain vigilant at all times when hunting and shooting. Now I will show them the video you provided too.

I bet he falls for that trick with the garden hose too.
