Air Force Newbie……
Hey guys, I’ve been lurking here on and off for a few years, and finally bought a Talon SS in .177, an 18″ .22 barrel and a few other things. I am a 30+ years air gunner, but this is my first PCP.
My current favorite air rifle is my 10 year old AA TX200HC (Maccari internals). I also have an old RWS 34 (also Maccari internals), Beeman P1, 1980 vintage Sheridan Silver Streak and a few others. All .177 except for the Sheridan.
I mainly shoot targets, plink and a little pest elimination on my 5 acres.
I’m an avid paintball player, and it’ll be nice to be able to use my current HPA SCUBA fill station with the adapter to fill the AF bottle.
Being a tinkerer at heart, I am looking forward modding this rifle with the help of this forum. I am also looking forward to the next level of performance offered by this platform.

Hey, thanks again for the scope ring tip. Nothing too serious on mods yet. Got a subssonic drop in yesterday. That boy does good work. Got a bushing coming that I’m gonna vent. Got the chrono working, so am having fun seeing how the gun shoots with different fill pressures and Co2. Took it apart the other day to see what that was like. Pretty simple. Building courage to take a look at the trigger/safety. A little intimidated by the little springs, which apparently don’t have guides to get them in the same place when put back together?????
Well I just refuse to buy it so you’ll have to keep it.
How’s it going natethedog glade to hear your loving your gun did you do any mods yet? Would love to see how you set up your gun take some pics and post them on here

You’ve had 5 months to fall in love with your TSS. I’ve had mine for 8 days, and know it will be a good while before I ged rid of it. My springer and gas piston, deep in the closet. Hope you have a change of heart. These guns are so fun. That said, what do you want for your TSS?

I’ve decided that PCP isn’t for me, so I’ll be posting my SS for sale soon….
LOL.. I’ve been poring over those links for the last week. My TSS arrived yesterday, but the fill adapter won’t be here until Tuesday….. I mounted the scope and ran a patch through the barrel.
I’m sure I’m gonna have more than a few questions as I get to know this thing.

Welcome, my condor was the first PCP i ever shot, but i have wanted one since i was a kid looking in the beeman catalog. my springers are collecting dust . 😉
