Q:

And my R3 .25 Long finally made it to Evergreen State

Hey guys!

And my EDgun Matador R3 .25 Long finally made it here.

I really felt like a kid opening up his long awaited Xmas present! Love this feeling.

First impressions. Great quality! I am not a big fan of Wood stocks, but this one is very nice to hold and touch.

I have not had a chance to do some thorough testing. Mounted Hawke scope and fired off couple shots just to make sure it shoots =) . Trigger very heavy. Adjusted that to get rid of second stage.

Couple small =( things.

Scratch on the left side in the front of the beech. And internal moderator O-ring is destroyed. It was pinched during assembly and fell out in three pieces once I unscrewed the moderator housing. (How can I get one? Tony doesn’t have any and I emailed Ed)

Quick question about Sling stud for bipod. Do you guys use the wood type one or some different method. (my R2 matador already came with one installed)

I have 2754 and also saw the little O-ring on the moderator chewed up when I took it off. I amd going to get a bunch in the morning.

Right now I am investigating a air leak around the breech. Possible O-ring there.

Gun looks good though.

Congratulations !!! 😀

Looking veeery nice, – and all these pictures…….. ?

I love them……… 😆

Serial no 2750 is close to the one I stupidly rejected. That one was 2755. I wonder where that serial no has gone……. 🙄

😀

F and D, congrats on the R3!

I would Check out the local hardware store also. It doesn’t have to be metric and a smaller ID one will stretch quite a bit.

I have put the sling stud on all 3 Edguns. Not hard to do.

I would head to the hardware store and have a look around in the o-ring drawers… You should be able to find something that will work.
BTW the gun looks sweet 😀
