Talon safety tune up
I would like to know if there is a way to make the talon safety smoother. Currently it is hard. I would like to know if someone has the same problems and how to resolve if any. Thank you

I don’t know what Tony did with my safety, but it is smooth, easy to release and has never malfunctioned through 4,000 + shots. The only true safety on these guns is to decock it. IMO I do think Airforce is being irresponsible by not making the safety more fool proof.
Harry, I don’t see any reason to leave the bolt open, it can still discharge. 😯
I removed mine too… although I used to be able to de-cock mine… I can no longer do that 😕 I usually leave mine loaded with the bolt open… ready to pounce on any varmints intruding in a moments notice 😀
I’m with Hoot on this. Remove the piece of sh#^. The gun can always be de-cocked if you do not take the shot.

Remove the son of a bitch, and toss it into the mail back to Air Force in Ft. Worth, Texas, and advise them if we can put a man on the moon and rovers on Mars, WTF is stopping them from installing a workable safety on their otherwise fine air rifles.
I took mine off and I only load my rifle when I’m immediately ready to aim and shoot. My brain and common sense is far better than the AF “safety”, which is, in my humble opinion, dangerous and unreliable.
